Cottage alcove wardrobes

The problem

A compact St Ives cottage bedroom with a sloping ceiling and uneven walls had no workable storage: freestanding wardrobes didn't fit the eaves, and guest luggage ended up on the floor.

The solution

Made-to-measure alcove wardrobes were designed around the slope, with full-height hanging where the ceiling allowed, drawers and luggage shelving in the low section, and a ventilated back detail against the cold external wall.
