Under-stairs storage wall

The problem

A Truro family home's hallway had become a dumping ground: coats, shoes and school bags with nowhere to live, and an awkward under-stairs void doing nothing useful.

A flush-fronted storage wall was built into the under-stairs space — deep shoe drawers in the low end, hanging for coats in the tall end, and push-open doors that keep the hallway looking clean.
