Kitchen Repairs Across Cornwall

Repairs for the kitchen faults that make a property feel tired: dropped cabinet doors, worn hinges, sticking drawers, damaged worktops and loose handles.

Holiday-let kitchens can see more use in one summer than a family kitchen sees in years, so hinges, runners and worktop edges fail faster and matter more to reviews.

A repair built around the actual condition

What Kitchen Repairs Across Cornwall can involve

This established page covers kitchen cupboard, cabinet and unit repairs, so a separate kitchen-unit URL would compete for the same intent. The focus is targeted repair and making good rather than full kitchen fitting.

Cupboard hinges and doors

Dropped, misaligned or loose doors can often be adjusted or repaired, with replacement hinges matched to the cabinet where possible.

Drawer fronts and runners

Loose fronts, worn runners and sticking drawers are assessed for adjustment, hardware replacement or local cabinet repair.

Handles and fixings

Loose or damaged handles can be replaced with attention to hole centres, finish and the condition of the door or drawer front.

Plinths, trims and end panels

Water-swollen or impact-damaged finishing pieces can often be replaced without disturbing the complete kitchen.

Loose units

Accessible cabinet fixings and alignment can be checked, provided the wall, service and load conditions remain suitable.

Minor worktop making good

Suitable edging, joints and local trim concerns can be assessed; extensive, stone or safety-critical worktops may need specialist support.

How the next step works

A clear route from photographs to an agreed scope

Step 1

Show the unit and the whole run

Send close photographs of the fault, a wider kitchen view and any hinge or manufacturer markings.

Step 2

Match parts and scope

Hardware, finish, access and whether adjacent pieces must be removed are confirmed before ordering.

Step 3

Repair and adjust

Agreed components are repaired or replaced, then doors and drawers are aligned and checked.

Local FAQs

Questions before booking

Can kitchen units be repaired rather than replaced?

Often, yes. Hinges, runners, doors, plinths and worktop edges can frequently be repaired or replaced individually, which is faster and far cheaper than a new kitchen. Photos of the damage and the wider kitchen help confirm the options.

Can I send photos before booking a visit?

Yes. Clear wide shots and close-ups help us understand the issue, location, access and likely trade support before arranging the next step.

Do you support holiday lets, landlords and second homes?

Yes. We work with occupied homes, rentals, holiday lets and remotely managed properties, with timing and communication adapted to the property.

How is regulated work handled?

Electrical, gas and other regulated work is handled by suitably qualified support where required. We do not present general maintenance attendance as a substitute for certification.

Can this be included in an ongoing care plan?

Yes. Repeated repairs, seasonal checks and remote-owner reporting may be better handled through a planned care arrangement rather than isolated callouts.

Liam did a brilliant job on my dad’s kitchen, when he was let down by the previous kitchen fitter. Liam not only managed to fit my dad in quickly, he was professional, did a fantastic job, was reasonably priced and got the job done quickly even though it was a big job. Highly recommend.
